I don't use my Braille-reading fingers for pricking. And, in any case, if
one pricks on the *side* of the finger, that won't affect the pad which is
where Braille is read.

For those who read Braille, with so many pricks, how does that affect your
reading ability?

I'm proficient in it, and don't want to not be able to read it, as I've been
reading it since I was 3.
