[Diabetes-talk] [Diabetes-Talk] Best glucose monitor to use

Welcome.

I agree with the tray idea. But when testing, I bring the meter/strip to my
finger rather than having the meter stationary. Less opportunity for
blood-smearing that way. But Velcro might well be a way to keep track of the
meter if this is your nemesis.

Hi,

I have the prodigy also and I will give you two suggestions. One, I use a
tray with sides to keep all my diabetes equipment in that way it doesn't go
flying when I grab it. The other you might try is to put a bit of Velcro on
the back and Velcro on the table and it will always stay where it is.

So for what it's worth, that's my two cents. By the way, I'm a new member on
the list and hello everybody.

Ross

Jolena:

Nope; that's the one and only size. Most people want meters smaller rather
than larger. (smile)

Thanks for the info. I have a small prodigy glucometer but I think they have
a bigger one or I hope they do. If I'm not careful when I'm looking for it
and I have it on my desk I will nock it off. I usually have it in my case
but sometimes get in a hurry to go somewhere and don't get a chance to put
it up. I don't care about the memory for the readings and stuff like that. I
usually keep up wit all of that in my journal. Do y'all know if they make a
bigger prodigy meter? Thanks for your help.
