Because a majority of the sighted population want it to look pretty, and
that's the demographic companies are creating for. Accessibility and
functionality, if considered at all, is an after-thought.

Lease do. The updates wer suppose ot improve things and not make them worse.
Oh my god, whycant these companies leave thigns alone. They avhe ot
constantly making a pretty interface. Who cares as long as the apworks for
what the users need it for and is fully accessible is what matters.

Hi everyone!
Okay, guess I was a bit hasty in my excitement in praising the updated
Dexcom Mobile app. They fixed part of the problem but in a way they made
things worse. We do not see the ghost numbers any more but now there are
indeed still two sets of save and cancel buttons. We need to be sure we're
tapping on the lower one. Twice now in the past week I've accidentally
tapped on the wrong one because I relied on my sense of positioning on the
phone. I should know better than that with iOS 10. It's really annoying when
you think you've calibrated the thing and two hours later it starts alerting
you and complaining. I am using an iPhone 6S with iOS 10.1.
You can bet I'll be calling Dexcom. There's no excuse for such poor, lazy
and sloppy programming.
Veronica
