Joyce,
The other Prodigy meter is the Autocode. And yes, the strips work for both.

Just a note here. There are 2 models for the Prodigy. One is called the
Prodigy Voice and the other is called Prodigy.
The Prodigy Voice is the only one that a blind person can totally set up
without sight.
The Prodigy I purchased and it does talk giving blood sugar results, but you
need sight to set other things.
So be sure they have sent you the Prodigy Voice. Both of these machines use
the same test strips of Prodigy I believe.

I've never heard of a "Prodigy 2"; the totally-accessible meter is called
the Prodigy Voice and, insofar as I can remember, there never was a text
manual; there was an audio CD, though. You could probably also OCR the
manual or work with KNFB Reader to scan it in.

Subject: [Diabetes-talk] Prodigy 2 Manual Requested Please
Hello list,
I hardly write to the list, but I am doing so now to seek help.
My insurance today has told me the mail farmacy dos not cary my Solus V2
test strips at all, and as a result, they cannot supply me with the supplies
for my Solus V2 meter.
As a result of this, the insurance has sent me a new meter, a Prodigy 2.
I've not used a Prodigy 2 before, so I'd appreciate the manual in text
format if it is available.
Also, how can someone upload their results using Mac OS X or even Windows?
Thanks for any help that can be provided.
