Oh, isee. That is why I have my ipod touch using the dexcom cgm trial. I
will most likely do this  when I get my own unit in a month as I know its
going to take a while for my insurance to cover the device.  I will leave my
phone which is an android phone for all those other tasks. I am not a social
media person so my phone is for  phone calls, texting, email nand gps
navigation and that is it. all my other computing needs are done on my
tablet or computer depending if I am in the office or at home.

Gary, it depends on what those apps really do. Many of them are in fact just
graphs, which wouldn't help us at all. So just because it's an app doesn't
mean it helps us. The other thing I'm noticing even with just the Dexcom is
that when we get to the point where we have 20 apps fighting over Bluetooth,
by the time we add VoiceOver to the mix, man will those phones be sluggish!
Even now with my 6S, some things like my headset get really slow when Dexcom
is running.

Actually the embrace does have aps that  you can keep track of  theglucos
numbers .  so I say that the mobile platform is the way to go with either  I
OS  or Android with the health tracking on both platforms.
