[Diabetes-talk] Another Talking Glucose Meter

I had contacted the company that makes the iBGstar the first of this year to
ask them if it works with Voiceover in the IPhone.  They told me it didn't
work with Voiceover, but the gentleman I spoke with told me he was going to
submit that suggestion.

So I don't know if they have done anything as of yet.

Incidentally, I believe it was you that asked about bg meters that worked
with the iPhone; I remembered the name of the one I was talking about -- the
one that I believe could be handled although it would be a bid dicey. It's
called the iBGstar.

If you needed sighted assistance to set it up, you very well might have the
Autocode.  I also know that when I insert a test strip, it will actually
say, "Thank you for using Prodigy Voice," so there you have it.

Actually the embrace does have aps that  you can keep track of  theglucos
numbers .  so I say that the mobile platform is the way to go with either  I
OS  or Android with the health tracking on both platforms.
