The side effects of Invokana include hypotension, increased urination and incidence of urinary tract infections. It needs to be avoided in people with bladder cancer or in people with kidney function impairment. Invokana is considered a "glucoretic" and lowers your blood sugar by decreasing glucose reabsorption in your kidneys. Other medications in the same class as Invokana include Farxiga and Jardiance.
I take Jardiance and although I found the increase in urination annoying, it subsided after about 2 weeks. I make sure to drink plenty of fluids. I also lost 8 pounds, my fasting blood sugar levels have decreased by 20 points and my high blood pressure is better controlled.

Subject: [Diabetes-talk] {Spam?} Question Regarding Inkovana
I hope I spelled it right, but as for the question, several of my friends have been receiving calls regarding any side effects from this medicine. I called a couple of pharmacies, but none knew of any problems with it.
Is this another ploy, or on the level?
