No I am type 2. I found this out in 2005.i went through every pill combination til those did not help went on lantice insulin in 2014 and have now been on afrezza as of this month and trulicity and tresiba.these are the three medication which are keeping my numbers in check.  I did havea high a1c prior to this change in medications and so far so good.
