The new G5 transmitter's and new G5 receivers use Bluetooth strictly.
When I got my receiver, I think that the doctor had to enable Bluetooth on it. I was able to find something that the receiver fits in, so that I can clip it to my belt, Which is how I carry my receiver. I carry its case that I found, on my belt, and my iPhone in my pocket.
