I was not aware of the adding or subtracting fact. I just have someone calibrate the receiver to what my meter says, and it fixes itself at the next reading done with the transmitter/sensor.
As far as uploading, I was told you plug the receiver in, and as long as you have the uploader software installed, and your credentials in place, the receiver will upload it's information and readings.
