My pump training was great, but my nurse educators specialize in pump
training. I did know about the side button. Do you mean the button that also
adjust screen brightness?

I was taught that as well, but the rep told me that it is wrong. That is why
they want a wrep  to do the training and not your diabetic educator. Mine
did a great job except for that one slight detail. Another thing that the
rep taught me was about the button on the side of the pump that will keep it
from timing out before you are finished doing something with it.
