I bought it from amazon as I am a amazon prime member.  I got it at  a reasonable  price  for the meter. I also got  4 months  of test supplies. So I don’t know how  it would be covered with insurance in mind.  Sorry I cant answer that  one for you.   I use the clever choice voice HD to enter my two caliberation every   week into my dexcom an then use it every day to do 3 pricks a day to get an accurate caliberation curve for my dexcom cgm.

When I was looking for a meter in March-April no one mentioned the Clever choice HD. I have looked and all the reviews just say "good" "nice" "great". So for those of you who like the product, how is it really better than the Prodigy Voice, do we know if a test has been done to determine whether it is more accurate, and since I have come away knowing of at least three insurance companies that won't cover Prodigy Voice, how did those of you who have "clever choice HD get it covered through your insurance companies?

Yes you can review your readings. The clever choice voice hd is fully accessible. The problem I have with the prodigy voice is that I keep getting your blood sample is not enough please try again. This message can happen to me several times a day so i end up having to prick my fingers several times to get a good reading.
