[Diabetes-Talk] Different readings from different meters

Good morning everyone!!

This is Treuth. The only accessible, fully accessible meter out there is the prodigy voice. All the rest of them are simply claims and wannabees. I am not sure and cannot "quote Amazon's price for the Prodigy Voice meter. However, the NFB's independence market, has the Prodigy Voice available for $50.00. As for the strips and lancets, however, I would recommend getting your test strips and supplies from another provider as the independence market only has the strips available for $25.00.

I asked about the difference, and he said that only the lab tests were really accurate, and that small variations were to be expected from the usual meters.

For those who do not have insurance, or, are on Medicare, you can also get the strips through US med for just $6.87.
