Yes, the overlay goes over the sensor. The glucose numbers are read on
either the receiver that comes with the system or the smart phone app; the
overlay has nothing to do with accessing the numbers.

I have the over lay that you would use for swimming, Would you still be able
to read the numbers with this?
Or what kind of tape can I pick up that is clear to use to keep this on for
the 14 days.
I really want this to work.
