You're right! Facetime is preinstalled on the IPhone.

You can try doing a simple experiment with your husband just to see if he can make out what is showing on the pump’s remote or display screen or whatever you said the Omni has. If he can’t see the display because of screen glare, then you can try putting a small piece of either plastic wrap or clear packing tape over the display screen and try it again. Its very easy to use Facetime. Once the app is on your phone and your contact’s phone, then whenever you look at that person’s contact information there will be an option along with the home, moble, work numbers to Facetime that person.

The problem is that either you wait and get someone there before you start the process or if you're in the midst of something, you risk the thing timing out while you chase down the other person. And the other issue for me is that sometimes when changing cartridges, pods, or what have you, umm, I'm at least partly undressed. Good thought though. <grin> Veronica

I’ve tried using FaceTime with my sister when I needed a visual check on the pump screen and she could not read the pump because of the glare. She had to come over in-person. Its been suggested, but not tried out, to place a piece of clear tape over the display screen of the pump which “might” make it readable if using the phone to have someone look at it for us.
