I am thrilled with the Dexcom as these warning signals are what I needed as I live alone.  Ihave not passed out due to a low sugar only once since I started using it.  The alarm for low blood sugar especially at night  wakes me up.  

 It lets you know by the sound if you are dropping quickly and/or when I am at 80 and every 5 minutes it will let you know with a sound.  

I got mine in April of this year and

Oh yes it does tell you when the sugars are ascending or descending. And yes I can feel it also that's why I'm a bit chagrined when I test my blood and discover that it is way different than what the Libre is telling me.
Saying that if you don't have any issues with having sugars go up and down quickly then it is a good product. Minus no alerts

I've had a lot of gut surgery due to tumors so I do not digest food correctly. So it did not work well for me because of my sugars skyrocketing or plummeting really quickly...and no alerts The DEXAcom does not take calibrating either and has always been spot on.
It also has alerts that wake me up when it's going down to low and buzzes me if it's going to high.  That's the biggest  vantage for me --the alerts and spot on glucose readings.
