and how do I get one
Because I have a flip phone
If you have phone numpers or a email address so I can get more info about this I have two  diferent apps,seeing A I ,tap tap  C,on my I pad .

The FreeStyle Libre is sort of a competitor to the Dexcom. Both devices are continuous glucose monitors. There are some differences between the two and they do require a prescription. My endocrinologist does not recommend the Libre for Type 1's because it is not as accurate. Right now, it also does not give automatic alarms for high and low readings. With the Libre you just have to keep looking to find out if things are getting out of hand. It also does not read the number as often. At the moment, I also don't know how people are getting access to their readings as the receiver is not accessible and there is not yet a phone app which displays readings, allows you to set various alarms and pair up your transmitter, as the Dexcom has, all without assistance.
The cost is lower, although the Dexcom G6 does cost less than the G5.
I hope that over time things sort out so we do have real choices. But for me, even if I escape the need for finger sticks, I sure want a reasonably accurate number, not just any old number. Just my quarter's worth.

Hello,
That is good to hear about the adhesive on the sensors. I took my first 
reading yesterday and I wanted to cry because I did not have to stick my 
finger. I actually bought a case for my meter as well. They sell different 
accessories for them on Amazon. I can’t wait till the app comes out on the 
US app store. It has been FDA approved so now begins the wait for it.
