If you use the NLS talking book service (BARD), type in the search field diabetes pregnancy. I know a few books are listed, some dealings with all different types of disabilities and health conditions, others strictly about diabetes. my other suggestion is if you have a doctor strictly that takes care of your diabetes or a family doctor I would talk with both of them ahead of time and let them know you were considering becoming pregnant. That will be able to help all of you plan out when it might be the best time to start trying and make sure your special someone is aware for support.
Best of luck and please keep us posted. Congratulations on the potential new baby!
