Greg,

I am a diabetic and I use Prodigy Voice for a quite a while. After some
time, I noticed that the blood sugar levels that I was receiving was not
importing into the software. I have had several problems with Prodigy
and have now switched to a company called Embrace. They also have
talking meters and my diabetic supply company delivers their products. I
did not set up their software yet, but am planning on doing that in the
next couple days.

Without too many details, just understand that I've had several
different people helping me remotely at my computer work with the
Prodigy company getting everything set up the right way and finally
switched companies. Keep in touch and I should have an update as to what
is going on in the next few days.

You can hear each category during the setup but you cannot hear what you are setting the value to. For example it will say set year but then when you hit the left and right arrow it will not speak the value as it is changing. The next issue is the test strips which are shaped weird on the end where you put your blood. It is not flat across like most strips. It has a really small nub that the blood goes on to. The third issue is that the app you can use with it on iOS is not accessible. Well at least I could not get past the verification part. You are asked to input a code you get in your email but there is no way to get to the fields where you put the numbers with Voiceover on.
