There is some one  on the group testing the  embrace.so waiting to  hear  that experience as well.i remember there wer a few in the past but wer discontinued but don’t know why.

I had been told that the Prodigy Voice was the only accessible meter until recently when I learned the Clever is also fully accessible. So, my question is, what meters are also fully accessible, because, I'm not aware of them. My only bias towards Prodigy was that I was only ever told by several people that no other meters were fully accessible until recently. But, I've only heard that the Clever also is, so, what other meters are equally accessible?

Joy, that’s not true.there  are several meters on the  market hat are fully aaccessible to the blidn with voice and all options accessible with voice  navigation .just that some of you guys have a bias toward the protegy. So let the user use what works and not give the only one choice.i don’t like this approach what may work for me might not work for x or y.   let he user experience afew meters and then let them make their decision as to what work for them.

I think everyone needs to realize that the Prodigy Voice is the only meter in the United States that a blind person can operate themselves with no sighted assistance.

If it were me, I’d call them back and tell them clearly that I am blind and need them to walk through doing the setup with me. I’d also ask the out right if the meter does in fact talk the results. Ask if there is someone who can assist you in enabling speech output on it. If they tell you the meter doesn’t talk then you know you’ll want to send it back for a refund.

Yes, I’ve been in contact with the manufacturer and they sent me a manual. I am confused how would someone activate the Settings within the battery compartment. Is there a special button?
