Novolin is just a different type of insulin. Novolog comes in both the pens and vials, and I know, because I've been using Novolog for years. I used to use it in a pen, and for 16 years now, I've had it in vials to use in my pump. I assume Novolin is also a fast acting insulin for bolusing.

Oh no ladies!!  I’ve been getting Novolog in the pen for years now.  Definitely prefer the novolog and Humolog pens to the Humolin.  Never worked for me.
