Wouldn’t you know, there are two kinds of Tracy Byrd pens. I’m sure most people have the one unit click. However. Wouldn’t it be me. I would be the one to find out that I have the other one. I don’t know how many of us do. But there are two kinds of Tracy bar pans.

And, this is with the Traseva Insulin. This is a 24-acting insulin. One “Click” on the Traseva pen is equivalent to two units of the insulin. I discovered that the hard way. I kept having some serious lows and for about three days, couldn’t figure out why. I asked my husband, who is sighted to help me figure it out. What do ya know, he was the one who discovered it. Then I called my Endo’s office to make them aware what had happened over the weekend. Even they didn’t realize what they had done. So, one thing I would suggest is that before you leave your doctor’s office with any sample pens, that an office staff go over that with you?
