[Diabetes-Talk] insulin pens

Okay, what I'm saying is this: Some companies will only send out "needles"
with a prescription, even on Amazon. And as far as I know, the Novolin does
not have "pins" that you stick yourself with. Perhaps your problem with
getting the right order is related to what you called the item you ordered,
and you should order patterning off of the name of the original "needle" you
got previously.

Just as an aside, we had this with a dog food order at one point. We could
find the product on Amazon but without a prescription on file the company
would not let us buy it.

Insulin will always be a prescription medication, so yes you would need a
doctor to write you a prescription. Line Amber
