That sounds familiar. I think this is how it was explained to me. All I
recall is that the app doesn't show up on your IOS device, ha!

Hello All,

I believe the reason for them showing up in the bluetooth section but not
connected is because they have created a secure connection through the app.
I am guessing this is so your medical device can not be hacked. Bluetooth
can be a very weak connection if it is left unprotected from third party
apps and devices.

This is just my guess.
