Long-acting insulin can be taken either in the morning or evening. For some, it's twice a day. When I was on a long-acting, it was Lantis, and I took it twice a day; once in the morning, and once at night. The fast-acting is taken after eating carbs.

Oh glug,
I even play the guitar where your fingers get so tough I can't hardly feel the strings.
That was why I went to the free style libre.
I didn't know they had other places I could use if I just did more insulin.
Now they say three times a day.
Where I am think it is four.
I was told the long insulin is at night before bed time.
Then the rest is at each meal.
Is this what you do as well?
