[Diabetes-Talk] FreeStyle Libre questions

Dan, I use the freestyle libre as a blind person and love it. You can check
your readings once you download the app, which is easy enough to do. The
meter has to be ordered as it is a requirement for most insurance companies,
including Medicare. But you can only either access the app or access the
meter. So as a blind person you will activate your censor with the app,
again, easy to do. If you order it without the meter if you are on Medicare,
you will not get your censors. There is no arguing this nonsense. That is
how it is. If you need to double check a reading you get from the Libre,
just use your prodigy. You will get the confirmatioin you need.

Hello list,
My Doctor is going to prescribe the Libre for me.
I will be using the 14 day patches with my iPhone.
Can I do this without needing to use the meter that comes with the kit?

Thanks.

Oh yes, another question.

are you a freestyle libre user? If so, what do you think of it so far as a
blind person.

Thanks.

Danny
