Do agree with you.i have both I o s and android and they ask me how I can understand voice over on I O S and talkback on android. Its funny that they cant understand the robotic fast speaking voices.

LOL! And with voiceover on the phone, few sighted people can understand it, especially if you have the rate higher, but even if you don't, most are not used to hearing an electronic voice, so they usually can't understand it.

Dar, there's one change in our society that works in our favor now. Everyone's looking down at their own phones and aren't paying one little bit of attention to us. I always whip out my phone to get my Dexcom reading in public. I don't have it turned up really loud, but trust me, nobody cares.
Back when I was younger, every time someone honked their horn, especially if I was crossing a street, I instantly went to that place, oh no! What am I doing wrong now? Then one day, suddenly that song just popped into my head."You're so vain. You prob'ly think this honk is about you." I tell you, changed my attitude forever. When you think about it, diabetes is so common these days that lots and lots of people likely inject in public now. In a way it's kind of a shame that we don't get to watch what others do in restaurants and such. As others have said, relax. You are one of millions and nobody notices.

Thanks I will get it worked out.
Just interesting to know what others do.
Then you don't feel out of place.
