It can also be different for type 1s and type 2s. Sometimes, type 2s don't experience glucose spikes the same way as type 1s, though not always. It just depends. But even in non-diabetics, products high on the glycemic index, like crackers and potatoes, will create glucose spikes, their pancrease just kicks in, delivering the right amount of insulin in the right amount of time. For diabetics, obviously this doesn't happen, which is why we need medication of some sort.

My numbers in the morning are so low for this cencer where with finger sticking I am at 95 so no matter what they are, I won't stop eating them.
We just adjust everything so I can do it.
