I think in due time libre will catch up to dexcom .there are others in the works that are being worked on currently overseas but it will take for ever for us to se them in the USA.

Libre and Dexcom are CGMs, and the only 2 that blind diabetics can use. Dexcom is more sophisticated than Libre, able to do things and connect differently to the app than Libre. Personally, I never have a problem with Dexcom sensors sticking, but you can use the overlays if worried, just like you can with Libre. Dexcom connects to the app via Bluetooth and only takes 2 hours from putting the sensor on for the app and transmitter to pair on the app. I just changed my sensor last night at 10 and by midnight, it was able to give me readings after I calibrated; I didn't have to wait all night until morning. Dexcom is covered by most insurance providers, including Medicare. I like Dexcom because most nurse educators are trained on it and can therefore train patients and help trouble-shoot problems when you have them. This doesn't seem to be the case for Libre at this point in time.

You crack me up,
Problem is when I wore them on the outside, it didn't stay got loose.
Then just came off.
To make sure that it didn't happen on the tummy was I was able to put on the patch.
That helped keep it on.
I won't know how much the dex com would cost, and to set up the app all of that.
Is it like the libre?
I don't know how to find out the cost, unless I get my doctor to switch and I think then we would have problems with insurance.
