[Diabetes-Talk] cencer

Just ask your doctor for a Dexcom system; they will know what it is.

You will wear a sensor, which is the sticky part. A transmitter locks onto the sensor. It is the transmitter that the app pairs with.

If you have the G5 version, a sensor last 7 days. If you have the G6, a sensor lasts 10 days. With each, after changing a sensor, you have a 2 hour set-up mode, then calibrate and it will begin reading glucose levels.

Regardless if you have the G5 or G6, a transmitter lasts 3 months.

But again, all you have to do is say you're interested in Dexcom; you don't have to know all the details. Ask for the Dexcom G6 system; I think the G6 will be best for you, Dar.

There is also the receiver, but this will be completely inaccessible for blind users, so you will use the smart device app just like you do for Libre.

What I don't understand is this,
u must get more than just the cencers.
Something was mentioned on behalf lasting for quite a few years.
So that part I don't understand.
I do have the I phone up to date, so I would be down loading an app correct?
I would be asking for the dex com cmg?
Don't want to ask for the wrong thing, and I can since I don't understand.
Thanks,
