Actually, I do have to have a prescription for the Dexcom even though I'm paying cash.
But Dar, if anything goes wrong with a sensor or transmitter, Dexcom will replace it, no extra charge. You need to have a long chat with your doc or educator or someone. It's not an automatic thing, but if you really ask for it, Dexcom will even send out a trainer. Medicare covers it if you meet certain criteria, which I don't know yet. This company can be a royal pain in the butt but they're way ahead of Libre, if your story is any indication.

CGMs are not considered prescriptions but extra medical devices. Most the time, you can have a doc write a script for devices like this so insurance will cover it, but you don't have to have a script if you want to pay yourself. It's the same with traditional meters and even insulin pumps.

You can get dex com and cencers from amazon?
Really, I thought you had to have the agreement from your doctor as did the libre cencer.
Wow what are you paying for this from amazon.
I can't believe when these things see Dar coming they make sure they won't work loll.
