Depending on what type of Medicare you have, you might not be able to get the Dexcom G6 until April, apparently. I'm on Medicare through United Healthcare, and I can upgrade to the Dexcom G6 now if I wanted. I'm not sure how it works and what the qualifications are, but Medicare does cover the Dexcom G5 for sure for anyone; it's the Dexcom G6 that varies right now. For you, I think the Dexcom G6 would be best, because the sensors are easier to insert. Good luck.

I just put in a call to the insurance lady for humana, it will take her
24 hours to call me back she says, I will keep on this.
Won't run fast, we don't have lots of money to put into it if it is over $300.
