The more organizations work together the better for us to get things working for us as far as accessibility goes in any mainstream products .

Actually, Bridgit, that's not strictly true. NFB and ACB worked very well together and lifted the quarantine restrictions imposed on guide dog handlers who wanted to travel to Hawaii. I know there's one more but it's escaping my mind right now. That could happen if certain leaders thought the issue was important enough. Frankly, I'd give working together a better chance than that for the NFB really revising that medical task force. Once they've gone down the road of that bill, NFB won't go back. And I can't think of any good reason why organizations shouldn't work together. If they can't, that speaks to ego and being only concerned about getting the credit, and any money that could follow, not the welfare of blind people in general.

Sorry, no way is it going to happen that NFB and ACB work together. Will never, ever happen. And to some extent, with good reason, but we have yet to work together on any issue since the split in the 50s.
That being said, if enough of us take our concerns to national, maybe, just maybe they will listen and we will see some forward movement on this.

How do we get it done?
This is where I know both organizations would work together.
There are as many diabetics in the acb as well as nfb.
I just felt if we had proof that something was written companies won't help becaue of ira then national presidents would start to step on ears.
We could share how a voice chip could be added to the pumps and this would help out allot.
