[Diabetes-Talk] Reading the number on the sensor device

Yes, I use Seeing AI to find mine. Some times it takes a lot of patience to
get it to read. You will know when it is reading the correct number though,
because it is a distinct four digit number with nothing else before or after
it. I find that I need to make sure that I am under good lighting to get it
to read it best.

It would be if you point them to the right spot. The code is on one side of
the package all by itself and on the other side of the package there are a
whole bunch of numbers. So you really have to make sure you get the right
one. I am quite happy doing mine with Seeing AI. The transmitter code was
easier on the G5 box as well as the non-Medicare G6 one. You can, in theory
take a photo with the camera and get the codes entered that way but I've
never made that work. I did on the G5, but on the G6, it's just such a small
area we have to find and the camera times out really really fast so I just
gave up on that one and choose, enter manually. The sensor codes are always
four digits.

I've used both AIRA and Be My Eyes to read the transmitter code with no
problems, so I imagine having an agent read the sensor code would be as
easy.

why not try be my eyes app and sign in as a user? A volunteer may be able
to read the number for you if they can see it.

the decks calm unit? I have more trouble doing this than anything else. I
have used Seeing AI, and I have also used KNFB Reader, but I?m having
trouble getting the correct results.
