Medicare is a federal program. Medicaid is a state program. Nonetheless,

Social security could put me on medicare, then I would lose my money and
have nothing.
I was told I am better to stay where I am.
So I dropped it.
I didn't make enough hours working to get on SSDI.
Jim has to many assets for me to get more money.
I guess each state is different.
But this is medicare.
