Do mean SSI or SSDI? SSDI is social security disability income, which you
qualify for if you've worked a certain number of hours and paid taxes into
the system. SSI is social security income for disabled people regardless of
work history.

I am on SSDi as a disabled adult child through my father. That means that I
get a certain amount of money through sSDI as well as qualifiying for
Medicare. The claim number for my medicare is my father's social securtion
number, not my own, and I think this is what Dar is referring to. To do
anything with my Medicare I need my medicare number which involves his SSN.
And yes, I am able to get the Dexcom covered by my Medicare. I hope this
clears things up.
