Thanks, Jeanette. That did make sense. Kind of on the way to the hip, but
not quite there yet? Knowing me, can you say elastic waist band? Hahahahaha!
That's when it would snap back, hit the needle and jab it into my hand. I'm
so graceful, you see. But seriously, I do appreciate the conversations.
In the meantime, I'll keep working on my projects from here and let's hope
we get something on the ball so that if we go back to a pen, it's because we
make the choice to do so, not because there is no choice.

Oh Veronica, you made me laugh. But there is quite a bit of latitude as to
where you can inject. Try injecting more on the side of your stomach,and a
little higher than you might think. You won't get so caught up in your
clothes and can be quite discrete. I do understand the being lazy though. It
is nice not to have to check glucose with a finger stick.

Oh I wish I were still thin. It's just that most of what I have is, well,
lower down. <laughing! When I was using pens during those first few years, I
didn't go out much. Back then though, NPH hit me like regular and Lente
didn't last long at all. The most striking thing to me when I went on the
pump, other than feeling like I got my life back was that I was able to cut
my insulin dosage in half. Of course, I know more now so who knows! 
I'm also enjoying being lazy and not writing down everything I do, eat or
think. <grin.> It's handy to just hand over the gadget and say okay,
download my misdeeds! <grin> 
Anyway, the clothing thing just really bugs me and the more I know, the less
afraid of it I might be? Well, we'll find out, maybe? Hope not.
