Hello,
I always take the sensor out of the packaging. If you hold the camera right up to the tabs and then slowly back it away, the number should be read by seeing A I. I have not had any issues doing it this way.

Some times it reads it right away, and other times I have to keep moving the package all around the camera until it reads it. I leave the sensor in the packaging to read it, but I'm wondering if anyone has found it easier to get the code read with it out of the packaging. I've been afraid to try doing it that way. I know that the code is on one of the tabs that you remove to uncover the adhesive part of the sensor.

His dream job is to be a computer programmer from his bedroom, which might not be hard to find these days! Anyway, I know where to find him if I can't get the darn camera to read the code.

The only difficulty I have is reading the four digit code that Hass to be entered when you put a new sensor on. I have seen the messages that the lady talked about in this app and I just go out of decks calm and go back into it I haven’t had any difficulties using the decks calm with the new update. Thank you have a nice day

>> I am still running iOS 13.7 because Dexcom told me a few weeks ago that people were having a lot of connectivity problems running it on 14. Are usually end up waiting till about February to update to the latest operating system each year just because of the Dexcom app. I am using the Dexcom G6 version 1.8 and have not noticed any difference in how it works. Dexcom did tell me that the warning That they are in the process of testing the app is going to continue to show up on a regular basis because they say they are always testing the system. I do find that sometimes when the warning comes up and I flip to the right to find the continue button that voiceover will not read it and even a sighted person cannot tap on that continue button until I turn voiceover off. I have tried closing the app several times and sometimes that makes it work properly. I have a tiny bit of vision And have noticed that sometimes when that warning is up there and I?ll put my finger on the screen at that point that it actually reads me my blood sugar instead of reading the warning that?s usually when I have the trouble not being able to clear it. I also have Dexcom follow app on my phone which shows the graph and your blood sugar but does not allow you to do anything else however, I do not have any trouble clearing the warning from that app.
>> Did you try powering your phone completely off and then turning it back on again? I have found that this frequently helps apps to start responding properly again when nothing else seems to work.
