Hello,
From what I understand it is a cross between a insulin pen and a insulin pump. I believe it works in conjunction with the dexcom system. It is similar to a normal pen in that you inject it like a regular insulin pen. However it has bluetooth connectivity. It has an app on your phone that can tell you how much insulin you might need to take based on your sugar. It will also tell you how much insulin you have left in the pen itself. The pen uses changable cartridges. It looks pretty good from what I have read online. I also saw on one of the lists I am on that the app is accessible.
