[Diabetes-Talk] Free style libre

I wind up with chemical burns and usually the first layer or so of my skin
simply comes off with whatever has the adhesive on it. I need to use paper
tape when I get blood drawn or have an IV put in or something. Unfortunately
I found this out the hard way, so I'm not sure if nasal spray would be an
option for me. If it is though, what kind?

If you're hyper sensitive to adhesive or have an allergy, then nasal spray
won't work. But if you just get skin irritation from adhesive, I find
spraying skin before placing an adhesive incredibly helpful. I recently
started doing this, and it really does help.

All these senssors have adhesive to keep it in place.but you could spray an
allergic spray before placing it on your skin. Anything else you need to
know as I am using the freestyle libre at the moment. I do have plans to
test out the newer libre 2 sssystem when its available either by end of
year or next year.

Sorry if this question has been asked already, but does the Libre have any
kind of adhesive on it? I'm considering getting it but can't if it has any
as I'm allergic.
