Yes, it is true but you also have to be testing your blood sugar levels at least 4 times a day for Medicare to approve. Also there is a waiting period before Medicare approves. The National Federation of the Blind is trying to get Congress to change this in Covid 19 legislation by adding it to a bill that Congress is trying to get their act together on and pass through both Houses of Congress and on to the President of the United States so that it would temporarily eliminate the waiting period.

I suggest that you speak with your doctor or endocrinologist about this as some doctors are more familiar and know what would be best for you.

I have a question, I was looking online and about how Medicare can cover for the decks calm but they said that I’d have to be on insulin is there anyone that’s not on insulin that’s getting this? Once I get it I may have more questions and I have been reading through emails but sometimes it’s easier to ask the questions when I have it in hand if my insurance approves, but I guess the other question I will ask for now is our sensors covered? Thank you everyone for being patient I appreciate it because I know I will have more questions later than that may have already been asked about the sensors and how the meter works and how to pare it and all that good stuff. I was also wondering about the receiver I’m glad to know that you don’t have to use it because I know that Medicare requires you to get one with a receiver at least from what I read up on correct me if I’m wrong.
