Yes that’s true.but most insurance prefer libre over dexcom due to low cost to cover over the eexpensive supplies in the form of transmitters and senssors that dexcom charges the insurance providers.

Many T2s who do not use an injection go with Libre. It's also accessible.

Thanks guys, I’m hoping there’s a way we can pass a law where it shouldn’t be required to be on an injection so long as you’re diabetic because I hear that it’s such a useful meter.

The National Federation of the Blind is trying to get Congress to change this in Covid 19 legislation by adding it to a bill that Congress is trying to get their act together on and pass through both Houses of Congress and on to the President of the United States so that it would temporarily eliminate the waiting period.

Once I get it I may have more questions and I have been reading through emails but sometimes it’s easier to ask the questions when I have it in hand if my insurance approves, but I guess the other question I will ask for now is our sensors covered? Thank you everyone for being patient I appreciate it because I know I will have more questions later than that may have already been asked about the sensors and how the meter works and how to pare it and all that good stuff. I was also wondering about the receiver I’m glad to know that you don’t have to use it because I know that Medicare requires you to get one with a receiver at least from what I read up on correct me if I’m wrong.
