Oh boy, So far, G6 has been fine for me. But in a couple of weeks, I will change my transmitter, and now, I'm concerned. Fingers crossed for both of us.

Well, I'm just tearing my hair out over Dexcom lately. Mine started when I changed to a new transmitter and a new box of sensors. I am now on the third sensor of this box and tech support has been somewhere beyond useless and a half. The first night of the first two sensors, I was literally up all night calibrating every 15 minutes as instructed. How far off was it? Dexcom said urgent low and falling while my meter said things like 174. Last night, which was day 3 of sensor 3, it jumped down to 40, and then within 20 minutes it was 250. That is not my pattern. Nobody even wanted to have a discussion with me about what the problem could be. They sent me over to an educator. Oh yippee! Even she thought that was a dumb idea. Because she put in an email ticket, they replaced the sensors, which should arrive today. Meanwhile, I'm ordering my next batch. I am now using 13.5 on my iPhone 7. I do find that in the past year, Dexcom is setting records as far as not keeping up with Apple updates. They claim that they can't get information until the update comes out. I keep sending them information as to how to get on the developer list. Their tech support used to be excellent as well. Now, global support? What a joke! Honestly, right now I feel like I'm doing finger sticks so I can tell the Dexcom how it should read. Not really the point of it, is it. I hope maybe something changes with this new batch of sensors but I'm nervous about it, that's for sure. They have to know that anyone who buys a new phone is not going to have an outdated version of IOS on it. Not to mention, my problems started when I changed to this transmitter and box of sensors.
Anyway, thanks for providing the space for my rant. <grin.> Veronica

I'm glad to hear that updates do come in a timely way.

This morning though, I had a message when opening Dexcom about updates, and it asked if I wanted to do the setting updates or wait. I chose later for now, not sure what the updates would be like. I've never had a problem with Dexcom either after an IOS update, however, I've never seen a message about setting updates. I did the latest IOS update a few days ago, but it was just today that Dexcom gave me this message. I'm a little nervous to attempt the setting update, whatever it is.

Greg,

I I am running 13.5 on my new iPhone SE, and my Dexcom works just fine. As with any version updates, I sometimes get messages from Dexcom that says they are currently testing the latest version and to continue to the app. Once continuing to the app, I sometimes have to open and close it several times before it works. It always does though.

I am using 13.5 on a brand new SE, and my Dexcom works just fine. As with any IOS update, Dexcom gives you an error message every now and then for several weeks. It just says that Dexcom is testing the latest version and to continue to the app. Sometimes, I have to open and close the Dexcom app several times to get it to work correctly, but it always does.
