I don't know, but I was told when I got mine that it was the only approved
site for the body. I guess they figured it would be the easiest to apply.

Here's a few youtube videos on other  placement alternatives for freestyle
libre senssors.i have not done any where  else so I cant comment on  .but
watch and learn.i may end up experimenting as the summer months come out an
I start wearing tank tops  and short sleave polo shirts.
