All of this is related to FDA certification. This happens with any medical
devices. So in the first round, for instance, some companies may not test a
pump on children, but then in the second round they add them. Depending on
how their testing was done, the FDA certifies the devices for uses in
certain areas and the company isn't legally allowed to recommend anything
different. That has never stopped people from trying all sorts of things
though. It's just that if you have any problems, they won't help you if
you're not inserting the device in the approved place. With some of these
little sensors, there could be a difference in tissues that could affect
obsorbtion or reading. Until they figure it out completely, that's the way
things go. In the cases of CGM, I suspect they're all still learning about
innersticial fluid. Oh don't look at that spelling. <grin> But that could
vary from place to place on our bodies. Obviously I come up with a great big
duh on this one. No clue.

Gary, the video you sent is some weight-loss add that talks about leaky gut,
and nothing about freestyle libre.

Here's a few youtube videos on other  placement alternatives for freestyle
libre senssors.i have not done any where  else so I cant comment on  .but
watch and learn.i may end up experimenting as the summer months come out an
I start wearing tank tops  and short sleave polo shirts.
