Greg, 20 points is within the spectrum. Your meter isn't all that accurate
so don't be surprised when something else doesn't match it. Ten per cent is
within the specifications. Also, remember that there is a lag time between
current life and the reading.
What's really important is learning to interpret it. Nothing about diabetes
is an exact science, no matter what the commercials would have us believe.
Yes, the readings can be a bit more off at the extremes, but when your
reading is high, there's a wider range to play with. Your Dexcom is fine.

Subject: [Diabetes-Talk] Wierdness with dexcom readings

Hello all,
I have noticed something odd with my readings from the dexcom G6. I have
noticed that when my readings are normal to low, the dexcom is accurate. It
is only when my numbers are rising that it is off. For example my sugar on
the dexcom showed 180 and it was 203 on the prodigy voice. I am noticing
that the higher the sugar is the more off the dexcom is. Has anyone else
noticed something like this?

Greg Wocher
