Hello, Everyone,
Like Jeanette, I was also able to move from Metformin to insulin after 
a bit of a tussle and a change of doctors. After a week on insulin 
following my first diabetic crisis, I realized that half of my 
breathing problems had disappeared and we discovered that I am allergic 
to Metformin. Can you imagine that after eleven years on Metformin, 
with my breathing getting worse and worse, I am now beginning to 
practice going around on foot once again. Bravo for insulin, the 
natural medication!
