[Diabetes-Talk] question about dexcom sensor

I had a similar thing happened with sensors and had to resort to testing my blood sugars after years of not having to test. It was frustrating, but at least I was able to get replacement sensors and be back in action with the Dexcom. It made me appreciate having the Dexcom, although having to wait for the replacements was not fun. They just did not understand my urgency of needing the Dexcom, since I do not know when my blood sugar is low.

Unless they have improved it since I checked it out a couple of years ago, I don’t think it is accessible to us yet. Hopefully, the people that you spoke to who seemed sincere about making their pump work for us are telling you the truth! My doctor would love to see me use the Tandem. My diabetic educator tells me though that the cartridge is Very challenging to change compared to all other pumps. I am glad that you had the opportunity to talk with people though.
