Les, have you tried rubbing from the bottom of your palm to the tip of the finger you want to do a blood glucose test?
Have you run your hand that you plan to draw blood from under warm running water?
Have you tried swinging your arm vigorously about 20 times and also rubbing your hand from the palm toward the tip of the finger you plan to draw blood from?
I have found these choices helpful to getting a good amount of blood for testing.

That seems to be the key getting enough blood. I usually don't get enough.

This is the technique that I have found works for me. When I prick my finger I make a mental note of where I felt the prick. Then I place the tip of the Strip. This works fine if there is enoughThis works fine if there is enough blood there but there is still a problem when I do not have enough blood and cannot tell how much blood is there.
Patricia down at the first joint on my finger at about a 45° angle and slide it up towards the place where I felt the prick and it will suck the blood into the strip.
