Subject: [Diabetes-Talk] Looking for a mentor of sorts

Hello,

I received a call from a gentleman who is diabetic and as a talking glucose
monitor. He is struggling to get the blood on his strip and I shared my
somewhat limited information with him. However, I think he would benefit
more by being able to talk with someone who is doing this every day. Also, I
talked with him a bit about the newer devices, sorry, not sure of the
company's name, Dexcom, and said that I'd find someone who could share more
information with him. He knows how to use an iPhone somewhat and could
probably learn to use it. He is over 60 and is really struggling with
pricking his fingers so much. I would say a few hours would be adequate to
help him out. If you think you'd be in a position to help, write me and
we'll talk about the logistics. I do hope there is someone out there!

Thank you.

Bonnie
